Kauvery Hospital Radial Road Shines a Spotlight on PCOS Awareness

– Kauvery Hospital, Radial Road, took a significant step towards raising awareness about Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) by organizing a PCOS Awareness Walkathon on Sunday, September 24th, 2023. The event marked a pivotal moment in the hospital’s ongoing mission to educate women and adolescent girls about this common but often misunderstood endocrine disorder.

The PCOS Awareness Walkathon, which commenced at 7.00 am, witnessed enthusiastic participation from women of all ages, including those from various colleges, companies, and neighborhoods. The walkathon began and concluded at Kauvery Hospital, Radial Road, symbolizing the hospital’s commitment to women’s health. Dr. S. Chandrakumar, Founder & Executive Chairman of Kauvery Group of Hospitals, and Dr. Thendral, Clinical Lead & Senior Consultant in Obstetrics &Gynaecology at MaaKauvery, graced the event with their presence and shared their insights on PCOS.

The event was flagged off by Ms. KanimozhiKarunanidhi, MP, who participated in the Walkathon along with over 100 individuals, united in their commitment to raising PCOS awareness. This initiative aims to empower women and equip them with the knowledge and resources to effectively manage PCOS, leading to healthier, happier lives.

Dr. S.
