AM Jain College celebrates Founder’s Day with Visionary Tech Investment

Agurchand Manmull Jain College, a leading institution under the Sri S.S. Jain Educational Society in Meenambakkam, celebrated its 123rd Founder’s Day with great pride and tradition, honoring over a century of academic excellence and social contribution. The commemorative event was held at the Bhagwan Mahaveer Gyan Bhavan and was attended by faculty, students, alumni, and esteemed guests.

The celebration paid tribute to the enduring legacy of Padma Shri Mohanmull Chordia, whose visionary leadership and dedication to education laid the groundwork for the college’s sustained growth and impact.

The event began with a solemn Garlanding of the Founder’s Statue and the Lighting of the Kuthuvilaku. A major highlight of this year’s celebration was a generous donation of ₹21 lakhs by the Sah Agurchand Manmull Family, earmarked for the creation of a state-of-the-art computer laboratory. This transformative initiative aims to significantly upgrade the college’s digital learning capabilities and provide students with access to modern technological tools.
