Srimatha cancer care inaugurated Free Palliative Care Unit/ Dialysis Unit & Donor Wall Unit

on the occasion of World Palliative Care Day 15th of October 2022.
The Units are inaugurated by renowned legal personalities ,Advocate Jagannathan & Smt.Usha Jagannathan, Author & Publishers of Usha Jagannathan Law Series.
Mr.T.A. Narasimhan, Novelist, Vijay TV Fame Pandian Stores Sai Gayathri, Advocate Selvathirumurugan were spl invitees for the function.
The Programme was organized by Founder & Managing Trustee of Srimatha Cancer care and other Trustees Mr.V.Durai, Mrs Padmini were also present in the stage.
Dr.( Hon) D. Vijayasree commissioned Srimatha Cancer Care in the year 2013 in a rented building at Adyar, Indira Nagar to give asylum to terminally ill discarded poor cancer patients. With God’s will and support of noble souls her continued attempt to acquire a own building of her Palliative Care Center turned a reality by constructing 4 story-ed building at Thoraipakkam Chennai 97.
The new hospice building, besides accommodating 50 beds, provided Free food, shelter,medical needs, pain management, nursing care and mental solace. Even last rites are performed to abandoned poor patients. Our Trustee Mr. V. Durai is incharge of thus Great Service.
Srimatha cancer care also provides Free Dialysis to poor patients.
This Service of giving relief and solace to the poor dying patients is being managed only from and out of generous contribution from general Public.
