Conferred B. Arch degrees on 80 students including 2 University Rank Holders; 2 secured First Class Distinction and 64 secured First Class; Honoured University rank holders with Awards
Aalim Muhammed Salegh Academy of Architecture, Avadi, recognized by the Council of Architecture, New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai conducted its 5thGraduation Day, today. It conferred B. Arch – undergraduate degreeson 80 studentswith 64 students gaining first classand awarded 2 top university rank holdersin a function held at its campus at Avadi.
The Graduation Day ceremony witnessed 52 boys and 28 girls receiving their degrees and was conducted as per Government COVID protocol and was telecast LIVE on Youtube and other social media platforms.
The Chief Guest, Ar. C. R. Raju, President, IIA, Mumbaipresented the Degree certificates to the students and delivered the ‘Graduation Day’ address. Dr. P Satheeshkumar, Member COA, New Delhi was the Guest of Honour.
The Graduation Day was presided over by Alhajiyani M.S. Habibunnisa Sahiba, Chairperson, Aalim Muhammed Salegh Group of Educational Institutions.Alhaj S. Segu Jamaludeen, Secretary & Correspondent, Aalim Muhammed Salegh Academy of Architecture declared the graduation day open.Prof. Ar. Girirajan Arumugam, Principal, Aalim Muhammed Salegh Academy of Architecture welcomed the gathering and administered the Graduation Day pledge.
The Chief Guestfelicitated Anna University Rank holders, Ms Divyalakshmi and Ms Sumayya.Aand awarded them achequeof Rs. 10,000 each.

The recent Corona virus is not just a health crisis, it has affected our architecture community as well. We have arrived at a new juncture of disease and architecture and are binding towards a new normal. We have to understand and prepare ourselves to play anactive role in post pandemic”

As they receive their degrees, they are ready to step into the real world.Our students have been demonstrating excellent academic performance and are ready to face new challenges. We aim to have our voices and presence felt across the architecture community.”
Aalim Muhammed Salegh Academy of Architecture belongs to the Aalim Muhammed SaleghTrust which also runs Engineering College and a Polytechnic on a 18-acre campus in Muthapudupet, Avadi near the HVF Campus. While the Polytechnic started in the year 1996 and the Engineering College in 2000, the institution which was a dream come true project of Late AlhajDr. S.MShaikNurddin started in the year 2011
