The two-day event will bring together real estate developers, policymakers, financial institutions, technology companies, construction professionals and other key stakeholders from across Tamil Nadu.
Alongside STATECON 2026, CREDAI Tamil Nadu will launch the first edition of FAIRBUILD 2026, a B2B construction and building materials expo designed to connect vendors, suppliers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) with real estate developers, architects, purchase teams and key decision-makers.
JLL will serve as the Knowledge Partner for STATECON 2026.
The event is expected to bring together CREDAI members from chapters across Tamil Nadu, along with leaders and representatives from the real estate, finance, construction, technology and allied sectors. Tamil Nadu’s Real Estate Growth Extends Beyond Major Cities
Tamil Nadu’s real estate and construction sector is witnessing growth across multiple cities, with emerging markets playing an increasingly important role in the state’s development.
“Tamil Nadu has tremendous potential, and that potential is now spreading well beyond Chennai. Cities such as Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruchirappalli, Hosur, Salem and Thoothukudi are all growing at the same time, and our industry must grow with them,” said Mr. W S Habib, President, CREDAI Tamil Nadu.
CREDAI Tamil Nadu currently has a presence in 10 cities and will welcome five new chapters at STATECON 2026, taking its presence to 15 cities.
“This brings organised, responsible development closer to where people are building their lives,” Mr. Habib said.
He added that CREDAI Tamil Nadu will continue to work closely with the Government to support progressive policies, ease of doing business, faster and more transparent approvals, digitisation and sustained investment in urban infrastructure.
STATECON 2026 to Focus on the Future of Real Estate
STATECON 2026 will feature discussions on key trends and challenges shaping Tamil Nadu’s real estate sector. The conference will explore the growth drivers of the state’s property market, changing homebuyer expectations and access to capital.
Other key topics will include:
- Real estate growth across Tamil Nadu
- Changing expectations of new homebuyers
- Financing and access to capital
- Policy and ease of doing business
- Faster and transparent approvals

“We have designed STATECON around subjects that have a direct bearing on the future of real estate in Tamil Nadu,” said Mr. Srikumar Swaminathan, Secretary, CREDAI Tamil Nadu.
He said that the way people purchase homes, projects are financed and buildings are designed and constructed is changing rapidly. STATECON will provide a platform for developers, policymakers, financiers and technology partners to exchange ideas and discuss the changes shaping the sector.
FAIRBUILD 2026: Connecting the Construction Ecosystem
Running alongside STATECON 2026, FAIRBUILD 2026 will showcase a wide range of construction materials, technologies, products and solutions from manufacturers, vendors, technology companies and service providers.
The B2B expo aims to create direct business opportunities between suppliers and the real estate development community.
“A real estate project today is the result of an entire ecosystem working together,” said Mr. S Sivagurunathan, Advisor, CREDAI FAIRBUILD.
FAIRBUILD will bring developers, manufacturers, suppliers, technology providers and service partners together under one platform, enabling industry professionals to discover products, evaluate solutions and establish business relationships that can translate into procurement opportunities.
Purchase Teams to Participate at FAIRBUILD 2026
As part of FAIRBUILD 2026, CREDAI Tamil Nadu is introducing a coordinated initiative to bring purchase teams from member developers across the state to the exhibition.
Dedicated stay arrangements will enable purchase teams to participate throughout the event and interact directly with suppliers and exhibitors.
“We wanted FAIRBUILD to deliver real value to every exhibitor, and that means putting suppliers in front of the people who actually make buying decisions,” said Mr. Gugan Ilango, Convener, STATECON & FAIRBUILD 2026.
The initiative is expected to give suppliers an opportunity to meet decision-makers from multiple cities across Tamil Nadu, while developers and purchase teams can compare products, discuss requirements and explore sourcing opportunities for upcoming projects.
A Common Platform for Tamil Nadu’s Real Estate Industry
With STATECON 2026 and FAIRBUILD 2026 being held alongside each other, CREDAI Tamil Nadu aims to create an integrated platform connecting developers, policymakers, financiers, technology companies, manufacturers, vendors and other stakeholders.
The conference will focus on the ideas, policies and technologies shaping the next phase of Tamil Nadu’s real estate sector, while FAIRBUILD will provide a business-focused environment for product discovery, supplier engagement and procurement discussions.
Together, the two initiatives are expected to provide a platform for industry leaders to discuss the opportunities and challenges ahead and explore new avenues for collaboration, innovation and growth in Tamil Nadu’s real estate and construction ecosystem.
