PRATHYUSHA ENGINEERING COLLEGE 17 th CONVOCATION CEREMONY-338 GRADUANDS AWARDED
17 Graduation Day of Prathyusha Engineering College, Chennai was organized today at the college Auditorium with great pomp and show. A total of 98% of students from this (2018-2022) batch have been qualified for the Award of Anna University
Degree. 11 Students have secured the coveted Anna University Ranks from this batch and
thus made the alma mater proud.
The Graduation Day address was delivered by, Padmashri and Padmabooshan,
Dr.Sivathanu Pillai, Founder CEO & MD BrahMos Aerospace,Former
Hon’Distinguished Professor, ISRO, . He addressed the distinguished guests, esteemed
faculty members, proud parents, and, above all, congratulated the exceptional graduating class of 2022.
He acknowledged that the day marked the culmination of 4 years of hard work, sacrifice,
and determination. The Chief Guest noted that the graduates had navigated the challenges
of academia with resilience and dedication, and on that day, they stood on the brink of a
new chapter in their lives. He encouraged them to reflect on the journey that brought them
to that moment, remembering the lessons learned, the friendships forged, and the growth
that had shaped them into the remarkable individuals they were that day.
In closing, the Chief Guest challenged the graduating class to approach the future with
courage, integrity, and a commitment to making a difference.

USA spoke about the graduates stepping into the world beyond the university, he urged
them to remember that their education was not just a collection of facts and figures but
tool for understanding, questioning, and contributing to the world around them. He
emphasized that the knowledge they had acquired equipped them not only for their chosen
careers but also for the broader responsibilities of global citizenship.
The Guest of Honor acknowledged that the world was in a constant state of flux,
presenting both challenges and opportunities. He stated that the graduates’ generation was
uniquely positioned to drive positive change, innovate, and address the complex issues
that society faced. He encouraged them to embrace diversity of thought, be open to new
ideas, and, most importantly, be agents of positive change in their respective fields.
He concluded by expressing his confidence that each graduate had the power to contribute
to a better, brighter future, offering his congratulations once again and wishing them all
the very best in their future endeavors.
Dr. P.M. Beulah Devamalar, welcomed the gathering and enumerated the various
achievements of the college during the Academic Year 2022-23. She highlighted the
infrastructural enhancements and innovative techniques and innovative research projects
in association with various Industrial Organisations, like TANSAM, National Institute of
Wind Energy, Harita Techserv Pvt. Ltd., and through technical training programmes like,
CISCO Networking Academy, Infosys Campus Connect etc. She also elaborated on the
learning academies such as NI
LabVIEW Academy, CISCO Academy, Virtual
Academy, Alibaba Academy, AWS Academy, Google Career Readiness Programme,
Infosys Campus Connect etc. that equip the students with employability skills.
Sri.P. Raja Rao, Chairman, congratulated the graduands and conveyed his best wishes
during his address to the graduands.
The solemn occasion was dissolved with the singing of the National Anthem. The
